What is your returns policy?

At School of Espresso, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. That’s why we offer a 30-day return policy for your peace of mind. If you change your mind for any reason, you can return your item for a full refund.

To ensure a smooth process, we ask that the item is returned in the same condition as when you received it—unused and in its original packaging. For brand-new coffee machines, the box must remain unopened so we can guarantee the machine stays in perfect, resalable condition.

How do I return an item?

We’ve made returning an item as simple as possible. Here’s what you need to do:

Returning in-store (Click & Collect orders)

If you purchased via Click & Collect, simply bring your item back to our store after your return has been confirmed. We’ll process your refund on the spot while you’re with us—it’s that easy!

Returning a shipped item

For items purchased online and shipped to you, once we’ve confirmed your return request, we’ll provide detailed instructions along with our return address. Once we receive your item in its original condition, we’ll promptly issue your refund.

What Happens if an Item Malfunctions or Breaks?

We understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t work as it should. That’s why we’re here to help:

If your item breaks within 30 days

If your item develops a fault during normal use within the first 30 days of purchase, simply contact us via our Contact Us page. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement for you to ensure you’re back up and running in no time.

If it’s been more than 30 days

Beyond 30 days, your item will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. For example, when you purchase a Sage coffee machine from us, it comes with an excellent 2-year Sage warranty. In this case, their expert support team will assist you directly to resolve the issue.

Shipping FAQ's

What are your delivery options, and how long will my order take to arrive?

We offer:

  • Click & Collect - Come and collect your items from our Bristol showroom free of charge.
  • UK shipping with DPD - 2-3 Days
  • FREE UK shipping on orders over £200 with DPD - 2-3 Days

When can I collect my order with click and collect?

If the product is available in our Bristol showroom it will usually be ready to collect within a few hours. You will get an email to let you know the item is ready to collect

Refund FAQ's

How long does it take to process a refund?

Once we’ve received your returned item and confirmed its condition, we aim to process your refund within 5-10 business days. Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, but we’ll always do our part to keep things moving quickly.

Will I receive a full refund?

Yes, you’ll receive a full refund for your item, provided it is returned in its original condition. However, please note that shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a faulty product. We do not charge restocking fees, as we want you to shop with confidence.

How will I be refunded?

Your refund will be issued back to your original payment method. If you used a credit or debit card, the refund will go directly to that card. If you’d prefer store credit instead, just let us know when you contact us about the return, and we’ll be happy to arrange that for you.
